Let stresses melt away and experience deep relaxation with a therapeutic sound bath. Join Bea Martin and David Johnson of Bards of Avalon as they combine their voices with the sounds of Himalayan Bowls, Gongs and other percussion instruments to create an uplifting soundscape to enhance your wellbeing.
This forms one of the events of the Healthy City Week Bristol 2016 project.
The event will be held in the Seminar Room of The Bristol Heart Institute within Bristol Royal Infirmary.
“Thank you Bea and David, it was an incredible sound journey. I feel so much lighter and clearer this morning.” ~ Jenny, Bristol.
"Absolutely amazing. Wonderful sounds touching the essence of being." ~ Sarah
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Access to the Bristol Heart Institute is via Horfield Road off St Michael’s Hill. Note access and parking is limited in that area. If you are coming by car you can park in the public car park by St Michael’s Hospital (NB pay-and-display charges apply). You can also park at Cabot Circus (parking charges apply) and catch a free shuttle bus from there.
There is also a free shuttle bus between Bristol Temple Meads railway station and the hospital sites. The bus station is a few minutes walk away from the site (although up a steep hill), and there are spaces for bikes to be parked outside of the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre.
