Therapeutic Support Group for Young Mothers

This session give mothers the opportunity to explore their feelings and fears. They offer ways to handle stress, improve self esteem and develop coping strategies.

Then we may be able to offer you the support you
are looking for!
This session we would be covering and looking at:
Informal support from other young mums who have had training in
Travel costs and childcare support. Advice and guidance from our
Link Worker on issues such as budgeting and housing, plus
signposting and referral to a wide range of services offering help
for practical problems and emotional wellbeing.
Access to therapy for women
Therapy can have a positive impact on the lives of young mothers,
but they often face barriers when trying to access it. The Women’s
Therapy Centre has a successful community based model to
facilitate access to therapy.
