Historically, training from Therapeutic Thinking Ltd. has been delivered in collaboration with Local Authorities and larger MATs. The exceptional data, specifically around reduction in suspension, exclusion and RPI, has led to interest from more schools and services outside of these established customers. As demand grows, we are introducing a National and International route through which those outside of the established customer base can engage with our professional development.
The Therapeutic Thinking Relational Practices 3-day tutor course, offered through Microsoft Teams, is for schools and services not covered by our established network* of authorities and MATs. The training is aimed at Head Teachers and their selected staff who have decided to introduce a therapeutic approach as a basis for policy and practice within their schools or services.
The course will give people the initial knowledge to introduce Therapeutic Thinking into policy, planning, training and practice. We will explore the challenges faced by children in terms of mental health and wellbeing needs, as well as the impact of attachment, ACEs and trauma. It will explore how we can improve policy supported by a graduated planning response based on consistent analysis tools.
The course will introduce the core Therapeutic Thinking product, to in-house tutor level, and signpost the wide range of additional professional development and other consultancy services we offer, to support long term implementation of the approach.
Part of this training course involves a short group presentation of a section of the training materials. The presentation slides are provided and preparation time for the presentation is built into the course timings.
A certificate will be awarded following participation in the full 3 days and completion of the presentation.
Each day of the training starts at 9:00am and finishes at 4:00pm.
