About this event

Need a place to de-stress and take time out for yourself?

Looking for a community where you can just be you and express how you feel?

Join our Therapeutic Tuesdays on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 6pm on Shoreditch High St.

Rain On Me's groups are now funded by the National Lottery Fund!

Through art exercises and thought-provoking prompts, we aim to raise self-awareness and encourage acceptance and change. Finding the right words to reflect our feelings isn’t always easy, especially if you're feeling lost or overwhelmed with stress. That’s where communicating through art can be useful!

Some topics we’ve covered in the past include- forgiveness, self-awareness, confidence, gratitude, family, fears, trust and achievements.

Rain On Me's support groups are all led by individuals with lived experience of mental health struggles. It is a safe space for you to share your experience and also support others in the community. It is open to anyone aged 18-35. All discussions are completely confidential (unless your safety is at immediate risk). We will provide you with the materials required. We also serve snacks!

  • Please don’t be late as this may disrupt the flow of the session for the other participants. ⏰
  • You don’t have to use the prompts we share, you can just be present with us and draw what you like, no one will pressure you. 😊
  • Feel free to bring a friend if that would be more comfortable for you (please book 2 seats).

Hope to see you there!

P.S.

You don't need to be 'struggling' with anything to attend, you can attend simply for self-care. You also don't need to be an artist or be good at drawing to join, this is a space to have human connection and be yourself.

Organised by

Deepanshi founded non-profit Rain On Me in 2018, after living with mental health struggles for over a decade. She wanted to meet people who would understand her and reassure her that she was not alone in her struggles. Of course, as more people started attending, she realised how badly everyone else needed this sense of community as well. And now in the form of a free, London and international peer support group, Rain On Me provides a safe, non-judgmental space for anyone needing to vent their mental distress or work on their self-growth. Rain On Me's in-person monthly sessions take place at Charing Cross Library.
