About this event
Course Title: Therapeutic Uses of Aromasticks and Aromapots
Description: The aim of the course is to enable participants to increase their knowledge, develop skills and build confidence in the therapeutic use of aromasticks and aromapots. The course will include blending techniques, installing and anchoring methods, and research and evaluation evidence. Along with attendance on the course, students will also be required to complete directed tasks and provide reflective feedback on the activities (approx. 4.5 hours).
Dates/Time: Thursday 6th, 13th and 20th November (0930 - 1230)
Prerequisite: Applicants must hold a minimum of a UK Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy (or equivalent, with a Level 3 certificate in Anatomy and Physiology, Professional Association register and insurance registration where applicable). A minimum of one year of professional therapeutic experience, with supporting evidence. Applicants who do not meet the standard entry requirement will be subject to a review by Integrative Therapies Training Unit on a case-to-case basis. In such cases, candidates may be required to complete the Understanding Cancer: For Integrative Therapists & Health Care Professionals course as part of their application process. All applicants MUST provide a copy of their qualification upon booking confirmation.
