Therapeutic Writing Group Taster Session
Overview
This gentle and welcoming session offers a taste of how creative writing can support self-reflection, expression, and emotional growth. You’ll be guided through simple writing prompts designed to help you connect with your inner world in a supportive space.
✨ About the Taster Session
• One-off online session
• Experience therapeutic writing in a safe, reflective space
• No pressure to join the full group afterwards
• Cameras will need to be on to foster connection and safety (though you’re welcome to turn them off during the writing exercises)
Who It’s For?
No previous writing experience is necessary.
This isn’t a literary critique group — there’s no right or wrong way to write.
Sharing is encouraged, but optional. You can share your words, your reflections, or simply your process.
About the facilitator:
I’m Lesley Kollikho, a creative psychotherapist and lifelong writer. Since childhood, words have been my way of making sense of the world — through poems, stories, and reflections. Alongside my private practice, I write the Tips for Therapists blog and have recently completed my first novel.
I believe writing can open up deep wells of insight and creativity, and I’m passionate about helping others discover that for themselves.
