Description

Episode 1: PRIDE and IDENTITY

Our aim as a publisher is to nourish and amplify voices and tales from the margins. We are passionate about creating more opportunities for creatives. Setting up a writing workshop to help grow and inspire local writers felt like a natural step to make.

We will begin in Glasgow, followed closely by an event in Edinburgh, with another scheduled in Falkirk at the beginning of October. We aim to create a safe and welcoming space for writers of all abilities and inclinations. Whether you are a seasoned veteran, an occasional scribbler or someone who is just starting – you are welcome.

We, as well as your workshop peers, will help you develop and nourish your ideas and words. We also offer the opportunity to receive feedback – both peer and professional.

This workshop will be held in the spirit of and with Free Pride in mind.

Our first theme is PRIDE and IDENTITY.

We will kick off with a reading followed by a discussion and a word association exercise.

Hope this piques your interest.

We look forward to meeting you!
