An opportunity to think about what you want from collaboration and how to develop the structures to achieve it.

About this Event

This event is free to voluntary organisations based in Kingston upon Thames, and £30 to those in neighbouring boroughs.

This session focuses upon the role of collaboration in building resilience, being responsive, diversifying and leveraging.

Participants will be encouraged to:

• Explore own perception of collaborative working

• Consider how to prepare for working collaboratively with others

• Understand why collaboration can help to increase funding bid success

• Discover a range of approaches to working collaboratively with others

Who should attend

This session is aimed at any VCO staff or Trustee who is considering developing collaborative work with other partners and would like to know what’s involved and their options.

About the trainer

Joanna Oliver has a degree in Advertising, Media and Marketing, a Masters degree in Therapeutic Child Care and a Masters degree in Education. She was commissioned as a bid writer in April 2020, to support KVA in their role, by providing bid writing and bid writing support and guidance. Joanna has, alongside KVA, worked with over 30 organisations in Kingston, submitting a range of bids, including collaborations related to food; mental health, and serious youth violence.
