thinking ahead introductory workshop(evening)

The Essex Carers Network working with Together matters are really pleased that through the thinking ahead family to family program we are going to be running an introductory workshop to introduce families caring for a family member with a learning disability which may include autism too aged 16+ to the guide.

The thinking ahead guide supports families to start thinking about planning for the future, we recognise that this can be overwhelming which is why we have developed the family to family program where our trained facilitators who are all family carers themselves take families through the various sections of the guide over a period of time. Beginning with an introductory workshop which gives you the opportunity to hear about the various sections of the guide and decide if you want to continue with the other 5 workshops which cover individual sections in more depth, there is absolutely no obligation to attend all the workshops!
