Event description

Description

If you keep hearing about the circular economy but aren't really sure what it means for you and your business, then join this fantastic session over breakfast, delivered by Oxfordshire Greentech: the county-wide business network to support and grow the low carbon economy. You'll learn more about the circular economy, the opportunities it presents for small and medium-sized businesses and bust some of the jargon used.

We will explore some case studies to see how businesses are implementing it in practice and provide inspiration. It will be an interactive morning giving you the tools and know-how to start on your own journey towards more circular thinking and a chance to share experiences and ideas with other local businesses.

The session is specifically aimed at small and medium enterprises who wish to better understand the circular economy and use the principles to innovate in their product and service offer and/or operations.

Our final speaker, Charmian Love, is deeply in engaged in supporting a transition towards a circular economy. In her role as Entrepreneur in Residence at the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, Charmian is guiding the development of the newly launched Circular Economy Lab and teaches an MBA and Executive MBA course on this subject. In the spirit of engaging more deeply on circular economy themes, Charmian sits on the Investment Committee of the London Waste and Recycling Board (LWARB).
