The event kicks off with a choice of practical & fun pre-confererence workshops on 16 May and is followed by a full day of inspiring keynote talks from world class speakers on the 17 May at Lord Norman Foster's iconic Sage Gateshead.

1. The 6th Annual Thinking Digital Startup Competition

We are inviting 10 great startups to Thinking Digital who'll be pitching before you and an expert panel of judges for a chance at flame, glory and prizes. Tristan Watson of Ignite100 returns to host the Competition.

2. Game Changing 5G Applications

There is a huge increase in interest in 5G – ultra-fast mobile broadband exponentially more powerful than any wireless internet we have today. 9. Walk Cycle - Mobile Animation

Take a creative walk using tablets and animation, drawing and editing apps to interpret the landscape as you wander. During this workshop we’ll explore Gateshead and Newcastle’s Quayside to find inspiration for short animated sequences in the landmarks, architecture, sounds, shapes, colours and textures that we find.

If you're unable to attend Thinking Digital 2017 we'll give you free access to our webcast and transfer your registration to Thinking Digital 2018. This option remains open until 5pm, 1 May 2017.
If you'd like a refund, we grant:

* 100% refunds minus £10 admin fee until 16 March 2017
* 50% refund minus £10 admin fee 17 March - 16 April 2017
* No refunds after 17 April 2017
