Thinking Outside the Box of the Neurodevelopmental Pathway - for Schools
Overview
Children and young people can experience a wide range of challenges in school. While some may relate to ADHD or autism, many others stem from different medical, developmental, emotional, or environmental factors.
This free event for teachers, SENCOs, school leaders and education professionals will explore how to look beyond the neurodevelopmental pathway to recognise what else might be going on, and how schools can provide the right support.
You’ll hear from two leading specialists who combine medical expertise with a neuroaffirmative, child-centred approach:
- Dr Joe Datt, Consultant Paediatrician & Neurodevelopmental Specialist
- Dr Bradley Powell, Chartered Clinical Psychologist
Both will share practical insights to help you better understand pupils’ needs, support learning and wellbeing, and improve outcomes.
The evening will feature two short presentations (30 minutes each), followed by Q&A and open discussion.
Why Attend?
✅ Look beyond ADHD & autism to understand wider pupil challenges
