Overview
Thinking Teaching is a two-day introduction to teaching and supporting learning within art and design Higher Education. The course has been designed for UAL staff who are either new to teaching, or whose roles include an aspect of teaching or supporting learning. It will be especially useful for new Associate Lecturers, PhD students, technicians, library services and academic support staff.

This will take place online on the following days:
- Monday 9th February 2026- 10am - 4pm
- Tuesday 10th February 2026 10am - 4pm

Hosts
Karen Matthewman, UAL Professional Recognition Lead will co-teach with another experienced Educational Developer. Karen is based in the Learning and Teaching Directorate.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is open exclusively to UAL staff and enrolled UAL PhD students. If you are not a member of these groups you wil not be able to attend.

This event will take place online. Please sign up using your UAL email and you will be added to an outlook invitation with the link to the online event space before the event.

Please only register for yourself, if you wish to share with others please refer them to the event listing. Please note that this is for UAL Staff (and UAL PhD student staff who teach)only. Only some of our events are open to students and/or people from outside UAL. Please check the 'Who Should Attend' section above to make sure you are eligible.
