This talk by Juan Duchesne-Winter considers theories and representations of the ‘young girl’ in Western philosophy and art and explores how some recent Latin American fiction can teach us to think with the young girl instead of inquiring what to think about her.

This event is part of Birkbeck Arts Week 2018 - see the full programme here.
