You're Invited: Third Sector Networking & Lunch Event – Building Partnerships Across Cumbria

The Wise Group, in collaboration with our partners Waythrough and Everyturn Mental Health, is excited to host two in-person networking events this summer – and you’re invited!

As Cumbria prepares for the commissioning of major national opportunities across Justice, Employability, and Health, this is your chance to connect, collaborate, and shape how the third sector can play a vital role in delivering impactful services. Key opportunities include:

  • MOJ Commissioned Rehabilitative Services
  • DWP Connect to Work

Let’s come together to explore how we can work in partnership to make a real difference for communities across Cumbria. Whether you're a charity, social enterprise, or third sector leader, this is an opportunity to share ideas, build relationships, and drive innovation in service delivery.

Details:

Lunch will be provided, and there will be plenty of time for informal conversation and idea-sharing.

💻 Can’t attend in person?
We’re happy to host an additional online event if there’s demand. Please email Victoria_leiper@thewisegroup.co.uk to register your interest in an online event or to ask any questions before you sign up for an in-person event.

St Giles Wise is a partnership built on a genuine values alignment. Together, we harness the proven power of lived and relatable experience to deliver high quality services at scale. We work with the communities we serve, involving the local organisations that communities trust most so that we continuously learn about what is needed and what works best in a local context.

Our partnership strengthened by our commitment to:

  • Not-for-profit: Reinvesting any surplus into our services and initiatives, and focusing directly on our mission to alleviate poverty.
  • Strong Partnership and Governance: The partnership between the Wise Group and St Giles is a long-term strategic collaboration, started in 2018. This enduring partnership is built on a foundation of mutual trust, shared values, and a commitment to alleviating poverty. With a history of successfully delivering 20 contracts, our partnership is a testament to the power of collaboration and strategic planning.
  • Embedding an Ethos of Lived and Relatable Experience: We actively involve people with lived experience in every stage of our service provision, including design, development, and delivery.
  • Empowering Locally Trusted Organisations: Our mission is to support and empower those locally trusted organisations to successfully deliver services that are needed in their communities.
