This Is Not A Screenig! is a space for things becoming. A projector, a room and the chance to connect through art and conversation.
No juries. No winners. No perfection. This is not a pitch! Just sharing.
We invite people to be part of this… even if you aren’t filmmakers. You could just be a part of the discussion.
⌛️Each artist will have 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the number of the submissions and the needs of the works.
🎙️Whether it’s a rough cut, a piece of raw footage - or any types of works in progress, we want to invite contributors to share, and we encourage interactive open conversation.
🍻After the viewing, the room and floor is open!
For artists: This is a chance to share your work, and see how it resonates.
For audiences: This is a chance to engage with and maybe learn from the creative process.

@thisisnotascreening was founded by Emre and co-organised together with Shaun.
@yusufemreyalcinn is a London-based Turkish filmmaker dedicated to exploring the intersections of personal stories and broader societal issues through his work. He is an alumnus of Berlinale Talents and the Ji.hlava Academy.
@shaunie_bee25 is a video editor from South East London. He works in short form advertising and has a passion for films, and other types of visual mediums, as well as storytelling.
