This Is Tees Valley 2025-26 - launch event

Members of the Tees Valley business community can be among the first to take a peep inside Teesside University’s futuristic new digital and event space at the launch of this year’s This Is Tees Valley publication.

The fifth edition of This Is Tees Valley – a flagship publication that showcases the best of our region to the rest of the UK – will have its official launch at Digital Life at the heart of the university’s campus.

Set to take place on Thursday, September 4, from 11am to 2pm, this year’s launch event promises to be more inspiring and impactful than ever against a backdrop of innovation, creativity and collaboration.

Sponsored by leading digital marketing agency Outrank, the launch will shine a spotlight on the strength and ambition of the Tees Valley.

A key feature of the day will be panel discussion featuring influential voices from the region’s business, public and education sectors.

The panel will tackle some of the big questions around Tees Valley’s future – its opportunities, challenges, recent investment successes and future ambitions.

That will feature:

• Bill Scott OBE DL, CEO of Wilton Engineering

• Jo Burgess, head of professional apprenticeships at Teesside University

• Chris Renahan, assistant director of inclusive growth and development at Stockton Council

• Crag Peacock, director of inward investment, Tees Valley Combined Authority
