Event description

Description

Explore the power of people and protest through the movement and songs of Miss Saigon.

Musical theatre has a reputation of being light and frothy, but it deals with serious social issues, too. Within the confines of a lighter entertaining style, musical theatre audiences have got to grips with major political and social challenges. This is particualry true of the award-winning production, Miss Saigon.

In This is the Hour: A Musical Theatre Workshop, perform songs from this smash hit musical, including ‘This is the Hour’ and ‘The Morning of the Dragon’. Led by professional West End performer, Nigel Wong, and Broadway choreographer, Leonora Stapleton, discover how musical theatre can pack an emotional punch and make us look at the world from a different perspective.

A fun movement and song workshop, for all musical theatre lovers, whatever your experience. Enjoy the camaraderie of singing and dancing together to powerful, emotive music.

Please note: this workshop is open to all levels, including complete beginners (16 yrs +).
