Organic or local? Fair trade or plant-based? Dairy or soy?
Making climate-friendly food choices is a powerful way to take action on the climate crisis, but it isn't always easy.
Dr Alana Kluczkovski of the University of York is joining us to help demystify low-carbon food and suggest practical, affordable steps towards a diet that's enjoyable, healthy and planet-minded.
Alana is research Associate at the University of York, working to co-create a regenerative food systems that optimise the health of people and the planet in an equitable manner. She is also coordinator at the consortium Take a bite out of climate change, an initiative that aims to increase understanding about how our food choices impact on our health and climate change.

The Something Club is an online community where everyone becomes a climate leader, and everyone is welcome. It’s a space for members to explore what climate action means to them and create incredible change - close to home, in their community and beyond. We believe that responding to the climate and nature crisis needs everyone, so while members have the option to pay a monthly membership fee to support the project, our Buy One Give One subscription model means that anyone can attend, regardless of their ability to pay.
