If your asking yourself – what on earth is a Jelly? It is an informal co-working event where freelancers and small business owners can bring their laptops, and work, chat and collaborate with others. The UK Jelly website defines co-working as, “Meeting up with like-minded people to work together in a different environment, to exchange help and advice, and maybe come up with a new idea to collaborate on”. It differs from a networking event in that the primary purpose of a Jelly isn’t to find new clients or promote your business, although of course this often happens indirectly.
The Petersfield Jelly is held on the second Friday of every month at 9.15am at Fork Handles Kitchen. Its free to attend, and we will be able to connect to the cafés WIFI. The only thing that needs to be paid for are food and drink.
This months Jelly is 14th October, 9.15 @ Fork Handles Kitchn.
Subject for discussion - how to get and retain new clients!!!
Hope to see you there!
