About this event

Laura Cioffi Flute and piccolo, Gaynor Gowman Oboe and Cor Anglais, Pawel Jaworski Clarinet

Scottish based Thistle Trio brings a varied programme of original wind trio music and transcriptions. The group emerged from the friendship of three musicians wishing to share their passion for chamber music. Versatile and talented musicians, as well as keen arrangers, the trio is delighted to explore their auxiliary instruments and a wide range of repertoire. All three musicians regularly freelance with professional orchestras across Scotland, including the RSNO and SCO, and have busy teaching schedules, including with Sistema Scotland.
