B’Me Against Cancer principal founders are Lindsay and Rose Thompson who have worked tirelessly to advise, support, inspire and help countless individuals, families and organisations over numerous years.  Their amazing community engagement has not been restricted to Nottingham but also to many cities across the UK and I think even worldwide!

We would like to show our appreciation and love for their amazing life-supporting work with a presentation of a gift and establishing a legacy (Thompson Award) of support with an annual community award.

Although these wonderful people don't do it for the fanfare, sometimes it is nice to let people know how special they are.

We think it would be fitting for the inaugural award to go to Lindsay and Rose Thompson. They are unaware of what we are planning, and we would like to surprise them, so please not a word!

We require donations to pay for the venue hire, refreshments, buy and present a gift to the Thompsons and annually acknowledge and celebrate other unsung community champions.
