Thornes Family Cycling Festival - Pirate Ride - 29 April 2017
Sat 29 April 2017, 13:00 – 14:00 BST
Join Us for a Piratical Adventure on Two Wheels!
Swashbuckling ride around Thornes Park with fiendish family fun - remember... 'There Be Pirates' so all cyclists must ride wearing a helmet!
How long are the rides?
There are four rides that leave on the hour and last 45-50 minutes. They are suitable for all levels including beginners as long as you can safely control and stop a bike. The rides are split into 3 sections so you’ll be able to catch your breath and be entertained by our pirates. Please arrive on time otherwise ye might be made to walk the plank!
How do I choose which ride time to book?
Just click on the blue select a time button on the right and you will be able to select your time.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We will be meeting at Thornes Park Stadium and there is parking available at the Horbury Road entrance.
What can I bring into the event?
You may bring your own bike but if you don't have one we can loan bikes and helmets, just let us know that you need to borrow them.
You should also wear clothing suitable for the weather and for cycling. Please remember sunblock if the sun comes out. Of course, we'll be extra pleased if you come dressed as a (helmet wearing) pirate, me hearties!
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
You can call Cap'n Jon on 01924 307348 or email us at email@example.com or on 01924 307348
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have your name at the start.
