About this Event
In partnership with National Park City, Timberland and Croydon Council, Urban Growth, a social enterprise who creates green spaces and green communities, is transforming Thornton Heath’s Ambassador House into a community garden for all to enjoy.
Thanks to funding from Croydon Council and Timberland we are launching a monthly gardening club where we can come together to care for the space and make sure the community garden thrives as a lush urban oasis.
As the first signs of spring appear, join us for a special gardening club session! As well as caring for the plants and learning essential horticulture skills, you will be shown how to sow seeds and make seed bombs to take away with you!
Your safety is our top priority so due to the virus we are limiting numbers to just 6 volunteers per session. Booking via eventbrite for each session is essential, so please do book your free place for each monthly session. If the sessions are fully booked or you experience any difficulty booking your place, please get in touch: ThorntonHeathRegen@croydon.gov.uk.
Rest assured we will be adhering to strict social distancing at all times and full guidelines will be sent to you upon confirmation of your place. We strongly recommend all clubbers bring their own gardening gloves (washing up gloves will do!) and face masks.
Be part of something special in Thornton Heath.
We can't wait to 'grow' with you!
