Event description

Description

The Walk to Remember in support of Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice is an opportunity to come together with family and friends to celebrate the life of those who are gone but not forgotten.

Starting at The Boathouse pub, the route will take in the river and stunning woodland before heading back to The Boathouse for a wonderful celebration.

By taking part in this 6K walk, you can help raise funds so Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice can continue to provide expert palliative care to those who need it in our local community.

Walk in memory of loved ones

Guests will be able to dedicate and wear a pin-on sign in memory or celebration of someone special.

Refreshments will be available after the walk at The Boathouse.

Dogs are welcome. Wheelchairs and prams are also welcome, but please be aware that the path may be uneven with possible inclines.

Raise just £60 of sponsorship

We would love to encourage you to raise as much sponsorship as possible. Raising just £60 could provide one session of bereavement counselling for individuals and families struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one.
