Thoughts 4 Change
Overview
In this event students will work on their campaigning skills. You will be able to simulate a house meeting to try and tackle the following issue: How to reduce unequal access to resources in university? You will then present your solution to your peers and the winning team will be able to follow up on their campaign by striving to implement it on a King's level with King's 4 Change assistance. The winners will also receive a certificate that they can post on their LinkedIn.

Presentation of issue
Team discussions
During this time the teams will discuss the solution they would like to implement and the logistics of their campaign. What will this campaign specifically tackle, what will you do, how will you gather support, what resources will you need, what outcome are you looking for, what individuals or institutions are you targeting, who would you need to work with? King’s 4 Change committee members will go around to help students.
Pitching
Each team will present their ideas (PowerPoints or slides are not necessary). You will simply present your notes and solution and what you’ve found. You will also be trying to convince your fellow peers that your solution is the best.
