solo exhibition of visual artist

Threads of Transformation is a solo exhibition that explores how moments of political upheaval, like the French Revolution, reshape fashion, art, and identity.
The exhibition traces the collapse of opulence and the rise of modesty during the French Revolution, a rare, overnight shift in aesthetic tastes that mirrored the era’s seismic political and social changes.
It also draws parallels to contemporary issues of race, identity, and social transformation.
Inspired by figures such as Marie Antoinette, General Thomas-Alexandre Dumas, and Joséphine Bonaparte, the show blends luxury design with Black revolutionary storytelling.
