Threshold - A Performance Evening
Overview
“When you’re looking at two things, don’t look at them, look between them.”
– John Baldessari
Threshold is a night of performance art shaped by the spaces in between. Through sound, movement, spoken word, audio-visual work and live music, a group of artists step into the gaps and edges -- the places that don’t sit neatly within binaries.
Each performer brings their own way of working with what’s shifting, messy, or hard to define. The result is something alive and unpredictable: a series of performances that resist categorisation and open up new ways of seeing.
Hosted at The Bomb Factory Art Foundation’s Archway space -- once a munitions factory, now a home for experimental work -- Threshold invites audiences to experience the in-between as a powerful creative space, unlike any performance event you may have encountered before. We recommend bringing a warm coat -- the space can get chilly.
