What you will learn in the Champion+ Course

This course provides foundational knowledge about neurodiversity, its challenges, and supportive approaches.

The Basics
Language: Review key terminology. Identify: Learn the main neurodivergent conditions. Inclusion: Appreciate the value of neurodivergent participation in D&I efforts.

Strengths & Expression
Strengths: Recognise each condition’s unique strengths. Expression: Understand how conditions are present in the workplace.

Challenges
Exec. Brain Activity: Experience executive functioning challenges firsthand. Communication Activity: Tackle clear-communication complexities. School trauma: Explore how school trauma affects skill development. Sensory overload: Identify and understand sensory overload. Meltdowns & shutdowns: Explain their occurrence and impact. Anxiety triggers: Recognise external factors that spark anxiety.

Understanding
Executive Brain: Grasp the basics of executive functioning. Behaviour as communication: View behaviour as a message and offer support. Anxiety awareness: Spot anxiety in yourself and others.
