We’re thrilled to announce that the VOYPIC Conference 2025 will take place on Tuesday 21 October- our 32nd birthday!
This year’s theme - THRIVE, not just SURVIVE - will shine a spotlight on how we can better support young people leaving care, with a special focus on education, housing, and advocacy.
The conference will provide space for professionals working with children and young people in and leaving care to come together to consider:
- Inspiring examples of good practice
- Honest discussion of key challenges
- Practical strategies to ensure young people leave care with dignity, support, and thrive into adulthood
This conference is suitable for those working directly or indirectly with children and young people in and leaving care, decision makers, and policy makers.
Please note, workshop preferences should be noted at the time of booking. While we will endeavour to place you in the workshops of your choice, this may not be possible due to number. Workshops include:
- Support for Care Experienced Young People in Education
- Alternative Routes - Opportunities for Learning Beyond Mainstream
- International Perspectives - Leaving Care in South Africa and Northern Ireland
- Advocacy to 30 - What Casework Tell Us About the Needs of Older Care Leavers
- The Corporate Family - Accessing Local Services Where Care Leavers Live
