Continuing Professional Event (CPD)
This CPD event is a forum to discuss the ‘special’ Issue on Post-traumatic Growth and Spirituality. In this event, we confront the human condition – the end of individuals’ life and examine how it impacts upon the people around those individuals, their loved ones, close friends and families as well as acquaintances from a distance (the ‘survivors’). The event consists of a number presentations and reflective discussions to explore the issue of post-traumatic growth and how it may lead to a better understanding of transpersonal or spirituality. New methods of enquiry (including autoethnography and narrative research) will also be presented and discussed. The presentations represent our love letter to humanity & spirituality.
Dr Waseem Alladin, a clinical psychologist & programme director for Psychology & Counselling at Bishop Grosseteste University
