The current world record for a marathon was set by Dennis Kimetto in 2014: two hours, two minutes and fifty seven seconds.
I am going to do it in only 45 minutes.
Skipping for 45 minutes, Jorge deconstructs a marathon and connects the emotional states that a marathon runner endures, with the stages of grief provoked by the irresoluted relationship with his father; taking the audience to higher stages of consciousness.

Why an underground tour
Earlier this year, we applied for funding to finish the piece we started last year by implementing the heavily advanced technology we use to both support the narrative and to enrich the audience's experience. Unfortunately our application was declined because we needed to bring additional funding and more performance dates to the project.
While we are making every possible effort to accomplish the financial goals necessary to fully integrate the technological aspects, we didn't want to put the project to rest. Therefore, we have decided to create an underground tour. We will bring the piece to living rooms, squats and non-funded venues. There will be nothing else beside than Vinz with his guitar, Jorge with his skipping rope and the haunting narrative.
This is T&O at its most naked and raw.
Please join us in sharing this intimate and honest work and its journey.
While this is a free event, we would like to invite you to consider donating to our ongoing Patreon fund. Donations will help fund future performances of Through&Out² as well as other SQx projects.
