This half-day course offers a deep dive into the realities of child poverty in the Wales and across the UK, exploring how inequality shapes children's experiences and what professionals can do to make a difference.

Through interactive discussions and practical insights, participants will:

• Explore the roots and realities of poverty and its connection to inequality
• Challenge common stereotypes and biases that contribute to stigma and discrimination
• Gain awareness of national and local strategies aimed at tackling child poverty
• Identify actionable changes in their own practice to better support children and families affected by poverty
