Throwing on the Wheel Taster Session
Overview
If you're curious about ceramics but can’t commit to a weekly class, why not give our throwing taster session a go? In a 30 minute session you will be guided through throwing a pot by one of our expert ceramicists. We will then glaze and fire your pot which will be ready for collection around 3 weeks from the Monday following the class. We will email you to collect. Sessions are limited to two people per class.
Ticket price includes all equipment and materials. Suitable for absolute beginners (adults and accompanied children, aged 8 and over) as well as those wanting to keep their throwing skills up to date.
The Hat Works Café will be open, serving light meals and delicious baked treats and drinks for you to enjoy. You’re more than welcome to explore our exhibition and retail collection and we'll also be running our monthly family friendly Saturday Art Club drop-in session on the same day which will be advertised separately so please keep an eye out.
Experience a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in our spacious cafe and studios at Stockport Hat Works. Enjoy the freedom to express yourself and feel the benefits of creativity, connect with fellow art enthusiasts, and take home something to be proud of.
Our workshops are inclusive and supportive, providing space to grow and learn together. Whether you're an experienced artist or taking your first steps, we welcome all abilities.
