Throwline training with Avon Fire & Rescue Service

Avon Fire & Rescue Service are offering free throwline training to businesses that are based around Bristol's waterways and anyone interesting in learning some lifesaving skills.

Come along to this hands on session to learn how to rescue someone if they have fallen into the water. You'll have the opportunity to practice the technique of using a throwline.

You will also learn about the potential risk that the harbour water may pose and how to get someone the help they need if you come across someone in the water.
