Event description

Description

Thurrock Council are hosting a Showcase Event on the 7th February to show attendees how they are approaching and delivering the transformation of Adult Social Care. This includes examples of initiatives already in place, plans for the future, and presentations and workshops on how Thurrock has overcome key barriers to delivering significant change.

The Council has a adopted a strength-based approach and has a close relationship with local NHS partners and the local Voluntary and Community Sector. The Council has also worked closely with a number of key organisations to change the way in which we view and deliver adult social care, and more importantly enable individuals to achieve the outcomes that matter most to them.

If you would like to find out more, then please attend our event.

We are interested in developing a practice-sharing network as a result of this event with those interested.
