When Doctors and Policemen Start to Look Young!

Keith Baldwin

A lighthearted look at a subject close to our hearts! We will be able to recognise the effects of aging and identify some Rules for combatting them. There will also be some readings, stories, and the odd joke or two - just to show that humour improves as the years go by.

Thursday 17 July

100 Years of “Auntie”

Dave Andrews

Auntie is the affectionate name for the BBC. Dave looks back over 100 years of BBC history from its beginnings in 1922. He will also play some extracts of famous BBC programmes and broadcasts going right back to the very first Christmas broadcast by King George V. It's a very nostalgic trip down memory lane.
