Tidal Summer Celebration
Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (BST)
Leeds, United Kingdom
I would like to invite you to celebrate with Tidal! We're having a really exciting time at the moment and we would like to share it with you. If you are any way connected to Tidal - whether you donate, volunteer, campaign with us or just like what we do - then please come along to our evening of celebration.
The fuel poverty photography exhibition, Cold Snap, will be there, so you can see what you have helped make a reality.
It's all kicking off!!
We're also really excited to tell you about new projects that we're working on to help grow the global justice movement in Leeds. This includes the latest about a new hub website for all social action in the city and a brand new Skills and Support Network which is being set up by our new Tidal worker, Claire Faucet! So. Exciting.
Don't worry, it's not all serious fighting for global justice! We'll also be entertaining you with beautiful music, raising your fighting spirit with poetry and feeding you tasty soup and cake.
As if all that's not enough, the evening will also see the launch of our brand new supporter competition! Come along to find out more.
Check out more photos by Buldog1, unfortunately they are not all in hats.
Thanks for the baloons:
When & Where
Debt, trade, pollution, biodiversity, resource depletion, water scarcity, food security, poverty, climate change… The number of big issues just keeps on growing, threatening our children’s futures and the lives of the most vulnerable people on the planet.
That’s why we’re here. Tidal is a campaigning group that works to support, coordinate and grow global activism in Leeds.
