Event description

Description

An in-depth journey through Tiki culture.

The Salt Room’s Head Bar Tender Matt Ottley will captivate your imagination with the history of the bar tenders that encapsulated the Tiki culture- dating back to 1930’s.

Rum was originally known as ‘kill devil’- to kill the devil inside you. During the evening, you will meet, through story telling, the characters of ‘Don the Beach Comber’ & ‘Trader Vic’ who brought us the Zombie and Mai Tai, in our sun soaked setting opposite Brighton beach!

For the £40 ticket price we will teach you how to make the best rum based cocktails at home. Pour you a full glass of each drink alongside some of The Salt Room Nibbles in an entertaining evening- Hawaiian shirt optional!

The Drinks:
  1. 1. Mary Pickford
  2. 2. Daiquri No. 1
  3. 3. Queens Park Swizzle
  4. 4. Mai Tai
  5. 5. Zombie
£40 per person

Kick-off time: 6:30 for 7pm, it'll end by approximately 10pm. Book Wednesday off!
We look forward to seeing you there
