TimbaTime is our FREE sensory story-time for young people with learning disabilities and their families. TimbaTime sessions use storytelling, music, puppetry and sensory play to retell familiar well-known stories in an accessible way for our audiences. The sessions are pop-up and will be appearing monthly at The Word, South Shields every 1st Sunday of the month. Each month there will be a different theme whicht the story will be based around.
Very limited tickets availble so we reocmmend booking early to avoid dissapointment!

- To provide a space for the whole family to build connections through engagement in a creative activity
- To deliver a fun and engaging sessions for our young people to enjoy!
There is free parking at The Word, South Shields and disabled parking spaces available. Sessions will be delivered in the StoryWorld space which is on the 2nd floor - accessible by a lift or stairs with good access to disabled toilets. There is also a fully accessible cafe space on the ground floor.
