Welcome to your Time Capsule: Songs From 2005 Ride!

Join us at Gymbox Victoria for a fabulous SONGS FROM 2005 themed spin class! Whilst thinking about potential 2000s nostalgia themes we googled songs from 2005 and what we found was SO MUCH FUN we decided to just GO FOR 2005... what were you listening to 20 years ago babe? It's probably gonna be in this playlist! Gwen Sefani was doing stuff as were The Black Eyed Peas and KT Tunstall and Coldplay and Mariah Carey... so were McFly, Ciara, Kelly Clarkson, The Pussycat Dolls and Foo Fighters. 'Switch' by Will Smith was also released in 2005...! This is a mere sample of the 2005 vibe!! The ride will be approx 54 minutes in length but we'll be together slightly longer, for around an hour including set up/cool down.

Anti-diet culture, jiggly dance party on a bike. The focus will be on how we feel and reconnecting with the joy of movement. This is an all ability ride, whether it's your first ride or your 1000th you are so welcome!

Ash is a queer, non binary human dismantling diet-culture one spin class at a time! Check out their vibe on insta @ashrideslondon :)

Millenials & all fans of nostalgia assemble!!!

(Ash Rides London classes are offered using a sliding scale for pricing. The actual cost of the class is £18 and tickets listed below that price are limited. Please read the sliding scale guide below before purchasing a ticket. We have considered and learnt from the extensive resources generously shared for free by Alexis J. Cunningfolk of the Worts + Cunning Apothecary - please do check out Alexis' extensive blog posts about the sliding scale: http://www.wortsandcunning.com/blog/sliding-scale

Below is Alexis' quick guide to the sliding scale, to help you decide where to place yourself on it...

QUICK GUIDE TO THE SLIDING SCALE

*The top price ticket is the actual cost of the class. If you choose a ticket price below the top tier you are receiving a discount. We have called this option 'Crazy Chick'.

*The middle price is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income. Paying for this class may qualify as a sacrifice but it would not create hardship. We have called this option 'Suddenly I See'.

*The bottom price is for those who struggle to meet their basic needs and paying for this class would be a significant hardship. We have called this option 'Behind These Hazel Eyes'.

*For folx who are unable to pay anything, please email us at ashrideslondon@gmail.com, there are a handful of no cost bikes available in every ride.

There are a small number of bikes in every ride which are priced higher than the actual cost of the class. These are solidarity tickets which allow those with the means to do so to 'pay it forward' and subsidise the lower/no cost tickets. We have called these tickets 'I Like The Way'.

(Please note we cannot offer refunds, but if you're unable to make it, let us know at least 48 hours ahead of the class and we'll do what we can to transfer your ticket to another Ash Rides London class, subject to availability)!

THANK YOU :)
