Event Details

Most of us don’t realise the toxic effect our diary is having on our people, our organisation and ourselves. We get caught into repeating behavior that adds little or no value without realising it. This can translate into poorly-led people, stress and overwhelm, a massive drop in productivity and missing out on a huge opportunity to attract and retain the best people and embracing the flexible working agenda.

This session will show you how your diary is the answer to all of these challenges and it’s surprisingly simple.

Who is this for?

  • Managers (all levels) who want to improve leadership and productivity in themselves and their people and who want to promote wellbeing and take full advantage of flexible working without losing their sense of control.

  • Business owners, Board-members, People Directors and Learning & Development professionals who are looking for a simple and effective technique for developing their managers so as to improve leadership, productivity, wellbeing and flexible working.

Participants will go away with:

1. A surprising introduction to the five high-level behaviors that we ALL display in our working lives every day
2. An interactive exploration of the differences between each of those behaviors, that can be easily applied to your own diary
3. An incredibly simple explanation of the difference between leadership and management
4. An eye-opening comparison of yourselves to others in industry - at your level - who are leading effectively
5. An introduction to the two things that are standing in the way of improving productivity and promoting flexible working today.

Paul Holbrook, Diary Detox®

Paul Holbrook is a time rebel and leadership disrupter who, after 20 years in change management in the City of London, decided he’d simply had enough of standing by, watching the toxic effects of people's diaries on their people and themselves.

Paul believes that the only thing stopping you getting the most from yourself, is having an unerring attention to getting the best from your people and everyone around you. That starts with focussing on what’s in your diary. By disrupting your relationship with time, you’ll remove the most significant barrier to better leadership, productivity, wellbeing and support for flexible working.....simply having the time.

Paul is a speaker on all things time and leadership, an all-round optimist and the creator of the Diary Detox®.

Registration and refreshments from 16.00.  Event starts at 16.30 and finishes at 18.30.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served before the event starts.
