Tea and coffee drawings

Take time to relax with a mindful 1 hour drawing workshop, designed to reduce anxiety and focus on the creative process. We will be using tea and coffee to create drawings, exploring shading, texture, and form.

You will need:

White paper (which is thicker than printer paper) or watercolour paper, non-permanent gel pen or ink fine liner, a teaspoon, small bowl of black coffee or black tea with teabag left in.

Optional extra art materials to add colour to your creations: colouring pencils, felt tips or watercolours, small brushes and water

How to join

This event will be hosted on Zoom. Details on how to access the zoom link will be sent to you via the RCN email. We do not record "Time To" events, as they are based on participation.

Liz Atkin

Liz Atkin is an artist and educator. She reimagines herCompulsive Skin Picking and anxiety into drawings, photographs andperformances. Liz is a mental health advocate and raises awareness for thedisorder around the world. She has exhibited and taught in the UK, Europe,Australia, USA, Singapore and Japan. Her artwork and an archive of her advocacyfor skin picking is held by the Wellcome Collection.
