Ruth Cadbury MP is the Labour MP for the west London seat of Brentford and Isleworth since 2015. In September 2024, she was also elected the Chair of the Transport Select Committee.


During her Parliamentary career, Ruth has chaired the All-Party Parliamentary Groups on Cycling and Walking, Transport Safety, Airport Communities, and Women in Transport. She has previously held shadow ministerial roles including Shadow Prisons Minister.


Prior to her election to Parliament, Ruth was a town planner working in local government and the third sector. She was a Councillor in the London Borough of Hounslow for 25 years and chaired the Barrow Cadbury Trust – a leading social justice foundation.”
