Why Should I Go?
University life is jam-packed full of ways to spend your time. Juggling all of the socials, lectures, hobbies, tutorials, work commitments, coursework and everything else doesn’t come easily to anyone at first. Procrastination is particularly prevalent among university students, for whom the combination of numerous deadlines, lifestyle factors and pressure to succeed can make it difficult to manage your time and fit everything in.
What Will I Learn?
This workshop explores techniques you can use to manage your time effectively and gives realistic and practical tips that you can apply to your own life in order to become more productive. Self-awareness of how your spend your own time is key, so by the end of the session you should be able to identify the things that you waste time or procrastinate on and learn skills that will help you to prioritise your workload in the short-term and keep a healthy balance in the long-term.
This workshop is open to all current registered University of Sheffield students. Please bring your UCard with you to the workshop.
