Event description

Description

This programme is aimed at helping people to achieve good emotional and mental health. We believe that everyone has the potential to have enjoyable lives that are characterised by joy and a sense of well being. The reality is that many people are not having a pleasant time in the their day to day experience with their lives blighted by the appearance of mental health problems in the form of anxiety, depression, poor emotional control and suicidal tendencies. The lack of mental wellness frequently has its origins in past experiences many of which have been difficult to deal with and have left mental scars. These occurences and their memory that impact on current mental health or well being have the power to remain potent for a very long time. In this programme, Time To Heal where we desire to teach evidence based strategies to start and progress the process that leads to healing and restoration. We desire that participants will experience improved mood, as well as more joy and peace. The seminar will draw on elements of Christian faith, positive psychology, neuroscience and cognitive behavioural therapy.

This is a programme designed to address past traumas and the unhelpful belief structures that have been created as a consequence. The resultant shift in mindset becomes the platform for transition from despair to determination with ultimate transformation from failure to fulfilment and fruitfulness. This strategy has the potential to provide immense benefit to people with depression and anxiety, ptsd, self doubt, victims of abuse, personality disorder and other psychological conditions.

The session will be stimulating and challenging and will help people begin to make the move from a state of unsatisfactory mental health to improved mental health.
