About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join fellow RCN members for a special Pride edition of our "Time To..." wellbeing series.

This interactive workshop is a space for LGBTQ+ members and allies to come together and express themselves creatively. We will read and discuss poems about Pride and then practice tools and techniques to help us do your own Pride themed creative writing.

The workshop will be led by queer writer James McDermott. James's plays published by Samuel French include 'Jab', 'Time & Tide' and 'Rubber Ring'. His poetry collections published by Nine Arches Press include 'Father Myself' and 'Wild Life'. James is also one of the writers on 'EastEnders' and a lecturer in creative writing at the University of East Anglia.

This workshop is suitable for everyone, whether you have experience in writing or not!
