Join us as we come together for our first celebration in Leicester, on Saturday, 13th September at 2pm, building on the success of a similar event hosted in London for the past 10 years. What we hope will become an annual event here in Leicester, is a non-denominational service offering a compassionate space for those who are affected in any way by suicide and journeying towards hope and healing.
After the service, we warmly invite you to join us in the Parish Room for tea, coffee, and biscuits, and to chat, with organisations that are supporting this important event.
The service is organised by Talking Mental Fitness, with support from Olly's Future https://ollysfuture.org.uk, a suicide prevention charity. We rely on donations to run this beautifully moving and unique event. If you are in a position to contribute - big or small - it would be greatly appreciated in helping us continue this event and donations can be made on the day.
You are welcome to bring along a stone, a rose, or light a votive candle to signify where you are on your personal journey towards hope and healing and will be invited to place these near the Sanctuary at specific times during the service.
The audio recording of the 2023 service and the programme of the 2024 service can be found on the Olly's Future website; http://ollysfuture.org.uk/st-martins-in-the-fields-service
