Overview

Film about the resilience of Ukrainian educational system, followed by a panel discussion and informal networking

The film tells the powerful story of Ukrainian teachers and students who continue learning amid the full-scale invasion, transforming education into an act of resilience, hope, and quiet resistance. Without narration or commentary, the film offers a moving mosaic of real classroom life — from lessons held in bomb shelters to schools in frontline cities and liberated areas.

Following the 60-minute screening, a panel discussion on “Resilience of Ukrainian teachers and students who continue their education amid the Russian invasion” & Q&A session (in English) will be held with representatives of Osvitoria, the film protagonist, and British educators and civil society leaders, to discuss the role of education in sustaining freedom and rebuilding communities in times of crisis.

The event will conclude with informal networking in Function Room, Christ's College.
