About this event

This month's Tin Hut Talk guest speaker is Pete Coe with his fascinating talk on Tales from the Home Front - The Story of a West Sussex Village during WW2.

Join Pete as he unveils the fascinting wartime history of a sleepy West Sussex village thrust into WWII. Discover how Ferring's residents, from wealthy Londoners to everyday folk, navigated wartime regulations under the watchful eye of Constable Jupp. Hear remarkable stories of POWs involved in the "Great Escape" and how community spirit thrived through the WI and local theatre.

An unmissable evening revealing how coastal village life persevered during Britain's darkest hour.

Do come and join us in welcoming Pete to Shoreham Fort, where you will find a hot drink waiting for you which is included in the price.

Doors will be open from 18:30 for a 19:00 start.
